Not bad going…

The days are lengthening. We are returning to the light. A walk to see the sunrise and a feeling of hope after so much dreariness.

The queue every day to take a photo at ‘that’ red phone box.

Working my way through the Booker short list (yes I know so one won it already…) so far this is my favourite. Engaging, beautifully written, atmospheric and shone a light for me on a part of history I hadn’t thought about before. Oh it does get spicy at times too.
