Beyond her bravery, if telling truth to power is now considered bravery, Bishop Budde illustrates the divide between mainstream Christians and the evangelicals who have adopted Tromp as their savior. Like she did, we have a responsibility to upend their harsh, false and pervasive narrative.

I can only hope that the news media goes back to taking an objective look at these nominees and the upcomingTrump Presidency--not the equal time fallacy that has led us to this frightening period in our history.
