The monkeys are running the zoo! The occupant in the White House is the king ape running wild. The Washington lawmakers are standing aside, giving these creatures all the bananas they need to survive. Meanwhile, the rest of the animals are starving!
America has become the "Planet of the Apes!"

Thank you for your magnificent and compassionate acknowledgment of the fear we're facing with this administration. You've given new hope where there was dread. I feel stronger to keep fighting the Trump tyranny because of your strength and determination!

It will show we did not let the chaos and division go unanswered.

It will show that when our president chose to spread lies and sow fear, we chose to come together, to work together, and to rise together.

What’s most clear to me tonight is that this is just the beginning, that Americans across this country, no matter their title or party, are ready to be heard.

I believe that history will show we rose to meet this moment.

I'm a resident of Ohio but wrote a note of thanks to Governor Pritzker for this action. I also asked him to encourage his other Democratic Governor's to follow his lead.
