Last 4 reads. The Empusium was the most serious/meaningful read in my latest trend of distraction books - a definite rec.
But oh my how Big Swiss by Jean Beagin made me cackle out loud.
Hot Milk was vague but alright, certainly better than the film.
The List - more of a beach read.

Watched THE BRUTALIST last night. Obviously, as a film about architecture it is surely fantastic looking, but for such a long film not to a have a single boring scene - masterful. 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 I wish an Oscar for it, but we al know how these go.
