During the holiday break in Lithuania, I took my parents to a local VR cinema to watch a recent Lithuanian VR film that had been shown at the Venice Biennale. It was striking to see that every seat for both our screening and the next was completely sold out, with a crowd queuing outside to get in.

Last week I attended Match XR, which is the biggest annual event in Finland bringing together people working with spatial computing, XR, and AI. A lot of talk about the economic growth and impact. Too little talk about the sociopolitical impact, and risks of manipulation and disinformation.
