Three great days of fishing in Eastport. The mackerel were so thick that today we only made two casts that were not productive. Most produced more than one fish. We canned 28 pints and salted over 100 fish which will be used for mackerel anchovies and smoking. Had a great time.

Last night's dinner. Lightly dusted soft crab we catch in the spring in our harbor. Crisp fried rock tripe that was gathered in Maine a few weeks ago.
