Australia season 2 is the most frustrating thing I’ve ever watched. It took me 6 months to finish it as I couldn’t stand the guy (you’ll know which one - I felt genuinely concerned for people in his life) but felt compelled to see what happened.

Him being a Russian plant might sound crazy but I don’t know how he could act more in their interests. I suppose if he was a plant he would be trying to hide it better

I mean, I think the damage is done. Trump has shown how quickly the US can turn. Even if it is all bluster (I don’t think it is), the next guy could take things further. Efforts are underway to remove supreme superpower status from them. Not sure how many Americans wd be aware of this.

Is anyone pushing this message in US? I don’t know where US weapons are made but I’d imagine there are towns/ communities that are heavily reliant on this industry. They are looking at a steep decline. If I were a Dem I’d be spreading this as loud as I could. Trump is going to hurt them.

I think it was a big wake up call to a lot of places. Many are reliant on US might and buying their gear. Trump has shown that this alliance can break down in a heartbeat. Even if Trump turns out to be all mouth, we have seen how quickly it would be possible to turn the US even against us.

I don’t think anything about he recent rounds of world leaders trying to win over Trump has made him look powerful. It’s made him look like a petulant toddler. I was so embarrassed for him when Starmer pulled out that letter. ‘What a special little boy’ and he lapped it up. Cringe
