Private aircraft owners pay a fuel surcharge to the faa, one of many user fees. Aviation in general pulls its own weight. However, the tax incentives for business jets themselves are very substantial.

It doesn’t work that way in reality. It cannot pass the Senate and the ultimate cloture vote to suspend the rules. So this is probably the last you would hear of it except in the next campaigns for the House where the Republicans will mischaracterize the bill and claim Dems want ineligible people to

And we should have been tightening our belts during all those great times but what politician wants to take more taxes or reduce spending. And now we may be in for a day of reckoning where we may be headed for our current regime will try to renegotiate our debt, just as he did with his failing busns

Yeah, it seems that our public is rife with people who have the attitude of “so wat? WTF are you going to do about it” and the employees who should help will not because they are being paid a slave wage, even with a union. Pie gets bigger but the slice gets smaller. Does this go on forever?
