That last one isn't optional.
Thank God someone finally did something about the federal font problem.

Of course we'll be allowed to have books in the future. It's just that they'll all have to be written by our robot overlords.

Same people who told us we couldn't have grown-up gun laws because we'd need our guns when the "deep state" sent government thugs to round us all up. Looks like they had privileged information.

Related phenomenon: sometimes you start writing a song about "this", but by the time you've finished it, it's about "this other thing".

Started 25 years ago with proudly-owned American torture. In other news: the Guantanamo torture facility is 25 years old, having among other things survived 12 years of administration by Democratic presidents.

Any black tea for the peppermint candy, any black or green for the orange peel. I buy cheap kitchen tea (Red Rose, Tetley), cut it out of the bag, and cut it with amendments. Conversely, I cut higher-quality teas half and half with it. (They tend to be rather strong and spendy.)

In other news, I'm watching your Cinema Titanic riff on Santa Claus Conquers the Martians. (A movie so bad they had to put Pia Zadora in it.) Third roast of that cinematic tour de force I've seen by MST3K-adjacent Luminati. And it's up to the usual quality. (That last part wasn't sarcastic.)

I listen to Gil Fronsdal (Insight) and Ajahn Brahm (Theravada). The Zen standard is Thich Nhat Hanh's "Heart of the Buddha's Teaching"; SFZC has a rich and deep podcast channel. I also remain an Alan Watts fan. His audio is available on Youtube. My blog has a lot of recommendations in this vein.

I mean, you can. You'll just suck.

That's because young people today have class. (I watched TOS first-run on my family's black and white antenna-fed TV, by the way.)
