To be honest, to me the piece that encapsulates the feel of the Mesozoic as a whole doesnt exist currently. BUT I have a piece that encompasses each era I feel. This piece by John Conway is what the Jurassic is to me. I love it so much and wanna use it in a video on dinosaur tails one day!

Last thought of the thread

Finding coal or oil on an alien planet would be an immediate flag of the planet having life. Maybe in the future we can be lucky enough to see the stars to find them.

How would humanity be interested in the past of other worlds? How do you both identify them and reconstruct them? What if instead of fossilizing like our calcium bones, they crystalize or rust? Imagine giving musculature to an organism nobody has ever seen or has any living relatives left?

How about the more biotic parts of the ecosystem? Like in alternative component other than carbon would they still fossilize like how we expect? Alien Paleontology would be a fascinating thing. How do organisms of different molecular components fossilize?

its crazy too cause Pinterest HAS a built in image searcher. I genuinely think this Pinterest picture IS the original of it online. I cant find any other images of it or any other things one it. It all leads to this pinterest image and that's it. Their all the same sizes too so its the same picture.
