Bought ten of these old 2 terabyte drives today for pretty cheap. $10 Canadian each.
Will be using them to backup my photo/video library, important files, and stuff like that. Leave a couple backups at my off grid cabin, just in case.
All of them work perfect, no bad sectors with about 60000 hrs

All of my family's computers run Linux... except this one! Its an old powermac G4 400mhz that I use to backup our immich library. I have a 1tb hard drive in it, and backup using rsync. It sits in another area of our property, so if anything happened to my main machine we won't loose our photos.

All I want is banh mi. This is the last one I had, the day the shop I used to go to for them closed down back in June. I miss them so much.

My dipstick adapter rattled out of my oilpan, but I got this different style that seals on the outside of the pan. Works well.
Also noticed my passenger side cab support and floor could use a patch job soon lol

Drove around with my little #meshtastic node on my dash today. I was able to connect to people 66km away! The closest node to myself was 22km away. I am really surprised at the range honestly. Still dont receive anyone at my home though... Need a high spot for an antenna.

DIY gingerbread house my family and I made. Wife and baby boy made the dough, I cut the panels for the house, and my daughter did the decorating! Looks a bit haunted :)

Joined a local meshtastic discord and getting some pointers. I want to setup a few more for my family to use maybe...

Glueing it back together. Using the other one to hold it shut while the silicone sets. MOSFETs come tomorrow maybe to repair the still broken one.

Koss KSC75 ear hook things. They sound amazing and have been ripped off my head more than once because they feel like wearing nothing at all.
I recommended them to someone the other day... Then I realised most people aren't weird, and probably wouldn't like them.

Spare idm is all cleaned up and ready to use again. Just need to apply new thermal paste where the heatsinks meet the housing and seal 'er up.
Excited to get the new MOSFETs tomorrow to try to fix my original one.

So yesterday I decided to get a spare IDM, and this so what it looks like inside. Although it does work.
I have already cleaned it all up and painted the housing. Glad I opened it to check it out.

The problem with my truck persisted after fixing all the melted wiring... Discovered I had lost the 100 volt power to bank 1. Short in the wiring took out a MOSFET in the IDM.
Ordered a replacement MOSFET from amazon at random. Well see it that fixes it.
