Anybody have any advice or experiences to share about using a cane at a convention? I’ve only started using a cane recently and never been to a convention so i have no clue what to expect. I just emailed them asking if I could even use the thing cuz their cosplay FAQ says no metal canes #disability

So I got some electronic textbooks and one of them has a decent text to speech thing but the other one is just robot and it’s super unhelpful if I try to use it to help me pay attention. Are there any extensions or whatever I can use that will read it in a not weird robotic voice? #disability
