I can't imagine how difficult it is for young women. Once you find a guy who's not steeped in toxic masculinity, you've still gotta negotiate the first-person shooter video-gaming and the sports betting. 😬

However ludicrous, "The Gilded Age" on HBO is great fun. Lacks the charm of creator Julian Fellowes' earlier "Downton Abbey" and doesn't necessarily tell us much about our own gilded age. But the acting is fantastic, especially the great Carrie Coons.
