Oh I know they go through Belarus, but then it splits. The Northern section heads off through Poland to Germany (and Austria?), but the Southern section goes through Western Ukraine (near Lviv) to Hungary and Czechia.

Maybe they will just not renew the contract. But they could take immediate steps.

Doesn't the branch of pipeline which goes to Hungary and Slovakia transit through Western Ukraine? If so, why is it still active?
