Governments don't just do things. They displace things being done by other people. Part is by taking their taxes. Part is by doing something "for free" that private parties have to charge money for.

Sowell tells us that there are no solutions, only trade-offs. When people demand that we give up our guns, what is the trade-off? What are we gaining? What are we losing? Because you can't solve the problem of gun violence by taking guns from peaceful people. We're not the problem.
