Ellsworth, Maine, population around 9k easily had 2k protestors show up at #NoKings Rally followed by a march which took about an hour to circle a single city block due to the sheer number of people funneling toward the sidewalk.

1 Trump troll present that everyone mostly ignored.

Hot takes from AI assistants. First from Grok, next from Leo (on Brave).

I have all sorts of problems with AI but damn if they aren't consistent on this thing... Until, of course, Elon edits out the "cringe." (My biggest problem with AI - only as useful as the coders in control of it...)

The lies are egregious. Always have been, of course. But this is an excellent illustration of the battle for truth.

Contacted Rafael today. As a constituent, I asked him to provide a job description. Told him if Trump makes laws thru EOs, controls the purse, and war powers, his only job is fluffer.

Trump has a whole cabinet of those.

"Senator" Cruz is redundant. Just more waste, fraud, abuse - he must resign.

Hard to tell on the maps what *isn't* for sale in the Coronado National Forest. Carve outs for Wilderness - which will cease to be wilderness once the land around them (dark green) is sold off.

They say these sales are for housing? This remote? Srsly?

The Case Mountain BLM was a godsend during COVID. My wife and I were stranded in Three Rivers, CA when RV parks closed nationwide. A 3 week stay turned into 3 months. Sequoia closed, Case offered a place to roam.

Its for sale

The Rogue River, a force of nature cutting through south central Oregon. Whitewater. Rugged. Thrilling for any outdoor enthusiast.

Protected? Not even close. It's the narrow corridor on the map not for sale. Could be clear cut to the cliffs. Who knows. @altusfs.altgov.info

The indifference is crazy. Red dot is the Sky Lakes Wilderness. To the east, a big swath up for sale. Right on the other side, a national wildlife refuge.

Do they think the wildlife sticks to fenced areas? Like a zoo?

3) Newberry volcanic NM was more beautiful than it sounds. The piney slopes of Oregon punctuated by gnarled formations left behind by a cataclysmic event.

Nature can be destructive, certainly. People have a choice...
