Purchased a photo book by Gina osterloh today. As you are aware, I am a portrait photographer of myself. I see some similarities in my work and hers. I believe it’s always important to study other people work to get a sense how you yourself can improve. What do you think?

I’ve been having so much fun studying the work of the great photographers.
This work is by Saul Leiter. His style of abstract / fragmented photography is really cool. He tends to shoot through glass especially when panes are facing different directions to bend the light.

Want to learn how to do this? It’s simple
1. Set your camera to something like f5 or above.
2. Set your camera to timer mode.
3. Take three images, one with just the background, one with just you and the frame, and one with your center image.
4. auto align the shots in photoshop. And mask it out
