Congratulations to my good friend Jay Jones on his victory tonight in the Dem AG primary! ⚖️

Proud to have supported you from the start & excited to work together to get this across the finish line.

Virginians deserve an AG who will fight for them and stand up to Donald Trump.

Grateful to see so many people getting out and engaged in peaceful protest today. In a democracy, the voice of the people is the power that matters most. 🇺🇸🗽

Threatening public servants—let alone targeting them and their families with deadly violence—isn’t just criminal; it’s antithetical to democracy, regardless of your political views.

⚖️ Big step forward for vulnerable victims in Virginia: Governor Youngkin signed SB894 into law *without* amendment. This is a huge achievement, restoring an avenue of civil justice for Virginians whose abuse likely could have been prevented. #ProtectVictims

I am saddened by the sudden death of a construction worker at the Ashburn Vantage Data Center site on April 10, and am in contact with the company & law enforcement. There is an ongoing investigation, and I am keeping the worker, their family and all those affected in my thoughts as we learn more.

With uncertainty in what lies ahead & mounting frustration w/ what's taking place in DC, it’s important Virginians have engaged leaders who are listening to our constituents. In that vein, thank you to everyone who joined us this evening for a legislative update & Q&A w/ the #LoudounDem delegation.

While I'm thrilled to see our push for data centers to pay for their own power was effective, a $21/month cost increase on ratepayers while Virginians struggle to make ends meet is unacceptable -- and far from "rate stability" for residential users.

Such a pleasure to get out & get my hands dirty with the community today to “Scrape for the Grape.” The invasive spotted lantern fly has become so pervasive that it’s destroying wineries around #SD31. In Richmond I’ll keep pushing for funding & research to protect our agriculture & local businesses.
