They should try their hardest to keep him, a great manager for Fulham.

dont remember the specifics of the older ones but lodging complaints kinda undermines what refs, etc, are trying to do - thats not good. but the liverpool one looks like its a step further! wish var would bog off & leave it to refs/linos & if there is human error so be it just like with player error

Those economies like the USA and Canada wasting their money on fossil fuels will lag very far behind fast moving economies like China that will soon run their industrial economies on near zero cost solar energy.
Fools fall for fossil fuels. And drag us all down the death trap with them.

again a complaint rather than the Liverpool one which sounds a lot heavier than lodging a complaint?

I can´t recall any other club accusing PGMOL of that. Plenty of post match grumblings, but this one is a OTT. TBH, I thought he was interfering with play whilst in an offside position - he was standing in front of the keeper

I was at Wembley for the 2008 game & it was just a more entertaining game than the 99 one or this years one. But after 17 years of no trophies this years cup had that extra element of relief with the joy of winning something at last & that breathless moment when VDV made that clearance off the line

I watched that final v Leicester in a pub in Finsbury Park with my bro-in-law (a foxes fan). You’re right - it was an awful game of football & spot on about the sending off affecting it. The cup this year, esp. after the goal, was a tough hoofball watch. But the VDV moment & joy of the win was great

I woulda thought we all want to see the best looking football & to win matches. But there are obvs exceptions when it suits - Liverpool when they beat us in CL final playing v pragmatic & unexciting stuff or this year when we won the EL playing ultra defensive hoof ball after the goal at 42 mins?

If `long tradition´goes back to the 86-95 George Graham era & when they had a rep for grinding out 1-0 wins. That chant was from “Go West” (Village people & then the Pet Shop Boys). Since then it´s been a pisstake by the fans if they are 1-up. Wenger´s style was hardly a grind to watch from 1996.
