The view from Frenchman's bluff in Lincoln county Missouri. The Quiver river directly below the bluff flows from west to east all the way through Lincoln county where it dumps into the Mississippi River.

From 1934-46 Company 3771 of the Civilian Conservation Corps developed what is now called Cuivre River state park. This small structure and the water tower in the trees behind it are some of what's left.

Mother nature ALWAYS wins. This building was abandoned decades ago. Even though it's surrounded by concrete on all sides the entire structure is covered in vines and various other plants.

One mile from this scene you can buy a Porsche, Lamborghini, Rolls Royce, or an Aston Martin. The homes around here can go for many millions of dollars. Yet this structure seems forgotten.

Klondike park, built around an abandoned limestone quarry, features white sand beaches and an overlook of the Missouri River valley. This little bush growing out of the sand stood out.

Clont's Field was used for about 50 years as the local football stadium. Trained up some of the best high school football players the state ever had. Lots of local history here.
