I missed tonights TNF game for a work dinner. I'm genuinely disappointed. I live for an absolutely debauched game of TNF. Real sicko shit. I missed my superbowl.

Philosophy is often a pain in the ass to read, but what little I’ve read has changed my life for the better. Like self-help books but good, they’ve made me much more deliberate. I’m also more equipped to see through so much bullshit and then disregard it as not worth my time.

When Chappell Roan said "Fuck this city, I'm moving to Saskatchewan." I really felt that, that's genuine emotional devastation.

Last cabin trip with friends, I read a few Japanese Ghost stories. I'm trying to make a spooky ghost story night a regular tradition

Just finished
Ghost Wall - Sarah Moss (it was fine)
And
The Unworthy - Agustina Bazterrica, which was incredible. Now it's back to philosophy with this big tome

Happy World Philosophy Day!
This year I did not read as much philosophy as I would like. Or, I should say I didn't read as much philosophy that I wanted to read. Taking some undergrad Philosophy classes really limited my time to just required readings.

One of my philosophy profs lent this book to me a year ago. I figured I should probably read it and return it to her soon.

Had to move a sports ethics midterm to today because of flight shenanigans. The poor intro political phil students I was writing with seemed so stressed. They're trying to explain Hobbes and I'm like "refs bad, lol."
