I’m confused because this is what I thought people voted for. Being poorer as a nation is the only Brexit benefit. It’s a strange benefit IMO but it’s what people voted for. So let them suck it all up and enjoy the poverty.

No one seems to be saying this money isn’t required by Government. I guess the fundamental question then is where should this additional money be found? Nobody wants to pay tax but everybody wants the benefits taxes provide we can’t have our cake and eat it.

Like most industries they just want ready trained employees. The question should be to these builders what are you doing to train more people…answer we use sub contractors so not our responsibility. This country in a nutshell.

A friend and I go for a walk in the North Pennines, c6 miles, we chat, listen to the birds and admire the ever changing scenery depending upon the time of year.

We attended the Border Readers at Allendale library, Northumberland a couple of weeks ago. Absolutely fantastic event, the story telling was exceptional.

The thing about tea is it tastes different with different water.l used to drink PG but now I drink Dimbula from Booths. We are on spring water, PG just didn’t taste right.
