I wasn’t born as much as I fell out - The Clash -
A fabulous read. I wasn’t able to go but I kind of feel I’d been there now.
Thank you.

He does!
And clearly very pleased to be here.

There’s a few uncertainties for me too but we’ve had a bloated back room (of Steve’s) and a lightweight team up to now.
Evatt has a trusted team around him with proven success.

I’m all for the return of Brett.
One of my all time hero’s.
He’s going to carry that kit for us in every division! ✊🤞

I’m sure we’ll see flashes of his personality at some point! 😵‍💫🤪

Tbf the last Ian we had did alright.
Not so sure about the gang of Steve’s.

Time for a gang of Ian’s!

Ian. Ian Crainey! 😂

I was the same….meh leaning to mild disapproval..
Very much an emotional response but not sure what it was based on?
The last week or so I’ve got more and more behind it and now firmly on the Ian Evatt tangerine bandwagon.

Not sure about him bringing a Stephen with him tho.
What could go wrong..

The whole pre match optimism collapsed as soon as the team was announced…
So much for fresh ideas!
Didn’t think it could get even more stale but that was as mouldy as a pack of crumpets. 😵‍💫

Me too!

Would love to see crazy uncle Richard hopping about waving his arms and bellowing from the touch line.
SD just to the side of him stroking his beard sagely before whispering his genius insights into his ear as we come back to win 5-4 …..having been 4 nil up at half time. 🥳😂

Plus, we all seem to credit uncle Richard with that positive brand of football post Critch mk2, but he was very much involved.
In hindsight those 4 winning games when Bruce first arrived must have had more to do with him and Keogh than the incoming Steve’s!

The interviews completely changed my mind about him. Agree with all you say about how he came across.
Out of all the candidates in the running he’s become my favourite to take over.
He seems ready for the challenge.
Looking forward to seeing how he sets them up on Saturday.

Actually, for me, no one with any previous relationship with the club.
Apart from maybe uncle Richard again - just for the chaos. And the fun.
God do we need a bit of fun.

That’s if CJ doesn’t take it of course.

I think keeping hold of two Steve’s is very sensible.

It keeps ‘the project’ alive.

Add an Ian ( not the big one) or a Neil.1 and we will be flying.
