Something I heard ages ago so could or not be true but the reason Americans drive on the right is that during the War of Independence, the British marched on the left of the road or pathway so as a bit of an eff you, the Americans swapped to the right.

I used to have a bootleg of The Sisters of Mercy covering that at a gig in the 80s. Pleasingly, they didn't mess around with the gender roles in the song either. The riff fit in with their own stuff perfectly.

The Nathan Gill affair should make it apparent that this requires a proper enquiry from the government using all the means at their disposal. Surely it's their duty to investigate?!

I get a shit load of gig/album info on my FaceAche timeline but then I use things like bandcamp a lot and follow a lot of bands and/or record labels. Also certain music mags. Not everything is of interest per se but it seems to be a case of seek and ye shall (eventually) find.
