Ila couple years ago I was at an imaging center having just had an MRI. Getting my possessions out a holding tray I dropped the AirPods case. The little fuckers shot 15’ across the floor, slid under the door of another imaging room and got sucked right onto the MRI machine which was in use.

I’m not even arguing with you. I personally wish the playing field were more level. But, at least for me, that doesn’t totally diminish watching Shohei or even someone like Muncy or Keke really show up. But I don’t expect anyone else to like them.

As a lifelong Dodgers fan I can’t argue. But obscene payroll aside, it’s a lot of fun to watch talent at work.

Reasonable. But what are the different “medicines” in this case vs a true fascist dictatorship? We need to be rid of these people asap. Obviously there’s the ballot box but that assumes they don’t eviscerate the vote by intimidation, harassment, chicanery, etc. I hope they can’t. But they’ll try.

I mean that’s kind of where I land on this. These people are so despicable, so fascist-leaning, seems trivial to argue about it. I don’t think people - whether they’re technically accurate or not - are calling this shit fascism because they love drama. I would love nothing more than less drama now

I’m curious why you want to die on this hill. You’re right that we are not currently living under a fascist regime. But they’re certainly fascistic. They’ll do whatever they can get away with & they keep pushing. So why quibble? Do we wait til it’s too late to say “ah, now it’s true fascism!”?
