Aping Reform UK Ltd on Immigration, falling into the trap of the Tories 'Fiscal Rules', etc. Reversing the 2-Child Benefit Cap is too fucking late, as Labour have haemorrhaged votes to the Greens, Lib Dems, Plaid Cymru and the SNP.

Labour are fucked!!! 💁🏾‍♂️

Get In by Patrick Maguire and Gabriel Pogrund review – behind the scenes with Morgan McSweeney, Labour’s arch strategist
This is a rattlingly good tale of a modern-day Machiavelli that ascribes credit for Labour’s journey to power not to Keir Starmer, but to his Irish chief of staff

'[Corbyn's] policy platform wasn't broadly popular with the electorate. It's why he lost'.

That's not strictly true. When asked, many people found Labour policies popular. But Corbyn was unpopular, compared to his Tory Leadership rival. Which is why he lost.

Actually, the Labour MPs -
Rachael Maskell, Neil Duncan-Jordan, Brian Leishman and Chris Hinchliff - lost the whip for 'repeatedly breaching discipline' and 'repeatedly rebelling against the government'.
