I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoys Skyrim but I'd be clear that it is more modest - and I suspect it is better for that.
One thing it led me to is to finally finish Outer Worlds. Which I think i enjoy more than Avowed - It also shows how much of a missed opportunity StarField was.

I'd also flag that it very much the anti-Elden Ring - which is a compliment to both games. One way this presents is that when you kill stuff they stay dead - no respawning - which can lead to a very empty game towards the end.

The backstory / world building and particularly the cosmology is Glorantha level complexity. So many gods. So little I understanding. It's fine but you need to either let it wash over you or do the research.
