Im sure like most people he was imperfect and had both good and bad traits, but as a reader I have to give him credit for trying. At a time when books were very expensive and inaccessible by many he funded the free public library system. It was truly life changing for many.

You probably heard the US trade deficit is the lowest in 5 yrs. So that dispells many criticisms. However I also do not grasp the wisdom in some of his choices but he's POTUS and very rich so he might be smarter than me in finance. Rather than attack him I prefer to wait and judge him in the end

It's widely acknowledged there has been a 25.0% decline in overdose deaths from the current year (77,648 overdose deaths) versus the previous year (103,529). That would not happen if the drug enforcement was just pushing supply lines around.

I read the DEA is also working on other drug routes into the US but they dont get the big media attention of blowing up big speedboat loaded with drugs, especially with video. BTW im not a Trump supporter or detractor. I judge his actions individually. For example Im not a fan of his insults.

I think many people, including myself, disagree with your contention that if you can't stop all the drugs don't bother trying at all. Everyone realizes it wont stop all drugs but even if it saves a few hundred lives it was worthwhile. They know drug use & addiction must be fought on many fronts

I think you're splitting hairs and trying desperately to find fault with the administration's actions. While the end doesn't usually justify the means, sometimes it does. 75% of those polled are OK with the boat attacks if it stops drugs and saves lives. Parents don't care about the details.

Trump has taken numerous actions to stop drugs ( border control, Xi Jinping agreement, Mexico negotiation, and interdiction) but I dont think anyone knows what's up with Juan Hernandez. There's more going on there than we've been told.

Acknowledging no one human is legitimately worth that kind of money (unless they cured all cancer or ???) Musk doesn't just get that money. The company must meet high performance targets. But it may just be the result of luck if the targets are met.

What is your income and net worth RR? Im guessing its closer to the CEOs than the minimum wage folks. We see the outrageous CEO compensations all the time but that is determined by a board of directors or owner. What could be done that would have any effect?
