We spent three weeks in Vegas, LA and Honolulu at the end of 2023. It was fabulous. Today it’s a trip we wouldn’t even consider.

Three months ago I thought the collapse of NATO would be a bad thing, now I am far less certain. I’m not sure we should be fighting on behalf of a dystopian regime, well actually I’m sure we shouldn’t.

This and the security balls up demonstrate the absolute contempt with which he sees anyone but the US. The countries who are currently allies are more than aware of this. Certainly in the UK most people do not see the US as a trusted ally any longer.

Because he plans to find some BS reason to invade Canada to demonstrate how powerful he is (nope) and to have a sound reasoning for not having a 2028 election……or just to suppress protest. I do recognise it was a rhetorical question. Cheers

He aims for the presidency to be life long and hereditary. Currently he’s just testing the water. If you tell a lie often enough it becomes normalised, which is pretty much his MO.

I agree. Your system looks odd and prone to abuse in all manners of ways. I think the 2024 election was fixed and don’t see how with the current regime you will be able to return to free and fair elections. It must be terrifying.

The Daily Mail is a newspaper on the right of British media and normally extremely pro-Trump. All the British press are saying the same thing, as I would imagine are most of European news.
