What Sundays are for.
Better late than never. The reward for my spring marathon double: (virtual) London Marathon and (real) Edinburgh Marathon. The rest of this year's #running schedule is still being planned but a Yorkshire Dales HM in August is definitely happening.

Better late than never. The reward for my spring marathon double: (virtual) London Marathon and (real) Edinburgh Marathon. The rest of this year's #running schedule is still being planned but a Yorkshire Dales HM in August is definitely happening.
Although two weeks of bronchitis this month halted training, next weekend (bar no more medical drama) I'll earn my 8th #LondonMarathon medal. It will be sedate, and virtual, but I'll be a finisher. Then it's just four weeks until the real thing, at a proper pace: #EdinburghMarathon.

My 8th #LondonMarathon is in sight. 5 virtual, 3 real. Yesterday's 14-mile slog proves it doesn't get easier. Tomorrow's #Inverness5k will be a welcome break from distance training, especially now we've got some spring weather and no wind. 😁 #Running

Horrible wind today – my least favourite climatic condition – but I completed the time required by the plan ahead of four races in March, beginning on Sunday with the #Nairn10k. When it will be even windier 🙄 Spring can't come soon enough. #EdinburghMarathon Virtual #LondonMarathon

The annual medals boast: 50k Race to the Stones; Virtual London Marathon; Oxford, Alloa, Inverness and London Landmarks Half Marathons; Yorkshire 10 Mile; River Ness 10k; Balmoral and Forth Road Bridge 5ks. Plus the Malton 10k Classique and 10k Sans Arret (glasses instead of medals). #running
