It’s ok to fire your therapist until you find the right one.

Her story is a gift to the world. I’ve been blessed to share that gift, and for that I say: Marsha, thank you.

We need her story in this moment, when we fight for the future of Black life in this country, for the rights of queer and trans people to exist, and for the right for each and every one of us to live freely.

Thanks to @thebrokeblackgirl, I made a list of things that I wanted to purchase throughout the year and ordered them based on how important they were to me.

One another note, I set a goal for myself to read a book a month and this time I’ve read 12 even though we’re only about half way through the year!

This book is about a serial killer who killed about 30 young boys in the 1960s and 1970s in Houston and forensics expert who used the latest technology to identify his victims and allow their families the opportunity to say goodbye to their loved ones even if it was decades later.
