Oh shit is he doing that thing again where he says "And if there's no wind that night, I guess you can't watch TV." Pretending he doesn't know what a battery is. Or maybe he's just not familiar with the word in the energy storage sense. Definitely familiar with it the other way.

I actually was curious about your feelings on it. I liked it a lot more than I thought I would. Having (one of) the same director was a great idea; it made it feel kinda like he was doing a second draft of something he loves.

I like to think so. I think people just appreciate how refreshing (and punkrock) it is to see kindness, joy, and hope on the big screen, kinda like the Paddington movies... Yep, Superman is America's Paddington.

Don't feel bad. My personal philosophy is if my first reaction is to hug it, and I can afford it/justify the price, then I get it.

This sounds exactly like the dude who gave that advice about how guys can get to touch a booby by complimenting the lady's booby first and as she's clearly blushing from the flattery, you politely ask to squeeze booby, and this totally works...
