The government are using the narratives of the May '98 Tragedy to divide protestors vs chinese-indonesia, they are using racism as a tool to divide the people and made us attack one another.
These are the methods of our government, and yet we're being punished for wanting them to be better.

A news video from Berita Satu showing not only workers joining the protests, but university students joining in and letting their voice be heard at 28th August (the first day of the protest), demanding the DPR to open their gates as DPR had challenged people to come and discuss the issue together.
