I'm seriously thinking about making videos that are just me going off on my random historical hyperfixations. Like William Penn, the history of sugar consumption, or the nightmare that was the selection process for a Venetian Doge.

The scholarly urge to make a video about William Penn is real... because there are surprisingly not many modern takes on him and the founding of Pennsylvania. Plus, he is underrated as an influence on the Constitution.

I swear 2024 really wants me to join the furry stereotype of working in IT... my company needs someone to handle the database and there's a Humble Bundle full of courses for IT certifications.

OK, I'll finally be back streaming at 6pm est and my fiance and I will be playing some Halo: The Master Chief Collection since she has never played Halo before

OK, I'm thinking of streaming on Mondays starting on January 1st. I should probably do something fun to celebrate New Years and being back streaming. Not sure what yet though.

OK, new computer parts are installed. I no longer have an excuse to not stream so I'll work on getting a consistent schedule going pretty soon.

It occurs to me that I made an account here but haven't actually posted anything yet. So hello, I'm Rune. A historian by trade and all around nerd and furry by hobby. At some point I'll start streaming on Twitch again and maybe I'll actually get around to the writing and podcast projects I mention.
