My wife wanted to make Turkey for the first time. I've cooked the last 11 years and do the day to day cooking. So I was bored and playing with my camera and some lenses. This weirdly symbolic pic came out and I am in love with it.

Wanting to get my first jumping spider. Haven't had an arachnid or reptile since I was much younger. Put together this wonderful cage I loved the look of. Noticed the temp and humidity seemed off. Decided to wait on getting a spider and let the cage sit a week. Mold. Back the drawing board

#TrenchCrusade kickstarter stuff coming in. Absolutely in love with the packaging, was not expecting it. Minis are excellent and I can't wait to figure out what way to paint them. Time to hail satan.

Bought one of those grab boxes of a random sigmarine. Felt like I needed to work on something that wasn't scales or flesh. This ended up being my first completed miniature. I'm surprised I don't hate it nearly as much as I was expecting. So yeah, this is my first painted mini.

First 2 minis I have ever painted. They're not finished, waiting on a few paints and want to touch up the eyes a bit. They were meant to mimic red eye crocodile skinks. Thought about tossing them in the trash. But I think I learned some lessons and will continue on.

Finished Blood Reaver up a few days ago. I'm officially getting worried I will not enjoy another 40k book that focuses on chaos like this again. It's so perfect, the desperation, the grime, the genuine disgust. Talos is such a good example of a bad guy where you're like "got a point, don't he?"

First time I've put together miniatures. It was incredibly relaxing. I think I may be getting fully into warhammer. Need to focus on an army to buy. Thinking about doing these guys in a red eye skink pattern. Anyone have any advice for a good starting 40k army to play?

First time I've put together miniatures. It was incredibly relaxing. I think I may be getting fully into warhammer. Need to focus on an army to buy. Thinking about doing these guys in a red eye skink pattern. Anyone have any advice for a good starting 40k army to play?
