I agree but just see the Irish getting the coach’s vote in the close calls. Darcy is fantastic and I’d have him over anyone else personally.

Seriously I wouldn’t stress. There’s no way there won’t be a tour busting injury before the start. To be fair very few of them are currently match fit anyway. The coach will always favour his own.

I was making that assumption. I do tend to agree with you. When an aspect of the team (the backs) are going well GT seems to get plenty of credit and not the players who happen to be generationally excellent. The forwards seem poor and that’s just because they’re “small”? It’s a weird one.

How does this comment look after Dalziel’s appointment. Does Farrell know what he’s doing? He obviously thinks Dalziel can get a tune out of superior forwards.
