Watch the documentary about our community outreach and engagement events in the Kuje community. We provided free hepatitis screening, vaccines, and awareness. We are following up with everyone with abnormal findings, one community at a time.

Based on this premise, Aspire Coronation Trust Foundation is supporting Project PINK BLUE to implement #ChokeLiverCancer, which aims to reduce the burden of hepatitis and liver cancer in Nigeria.

Presently, over 20 million Nigerians are living with hepatitis B, C, or both, and more than 80% of these people do not know their status. Painfully, hepatitis infection is a major risk of liver cancer.

In Nigeria, however, the vaccine was only introduced in 2004. Hence, Nigeria is now one of the African countries with endemic hepatitis B infection because people born before 2004 were not given the vaccine as infants.
