My nephew loves capybaras and has been having a bit of a rough time lately with his health so I made him these capybaras from Choly Knight to cheer him up. They're meant to resemble some of his favorite Pokemon, can you guess who they are? #quiltsky

My kitty sampler blocks 25-28. I think I'm caught up now but I'm going to try to go faster because I found out I may have a houseguest for several weeks in the fall and we love to quilt together, so if I can finish this we can focus on new projects #quiltsky

I had to go to the dentist yesterday so instead of quilting last night I made this on my embroidery machine. Design by Off With Their Threads. I need at least ten more now 😻 this weekend I hope to get our charity quilts bound and finished! They're all tied and ready

I'm unreasonably excited because the spouse and I finished matching quilt tops for the donation drive at my quilt guild. It's his first time sewing so there was a lot of learning, adapting, and seam ripping involved. Hopefully some kiddos like bright neon colors as much as I do 😹

I really wanted to catch up on my Kitty Sampler quilt blocks today but my body said, "no thanks" 😒 hopefully some rest and binging Kingdoms and Castles today will avoid a full-on flare. At least I have the best snuggle buddies 😻

I have been completely fixated on making these kitchen towels lately. Most will be gifts but I might have to keep a couple 🤔

I'm teaching the spouse to sew/quilt. We're making quilts for Project Linus for his first project and I'm trying to contain my excitement so he doesn't feel pressured to sew with me but I'm having such a good time 😹

I cut up all the scraps from my FPP project and tried my hand at confetti crumb quilting. I made a pocket between tulle and fusible interfacing with foam underneath, then filled it with the fabric bits and quilted all over it. I used leftover Olyfun and rivets to make a tray to hold clips #quiltsky

I did some quilting which is always nice but also I saw a birb. I was hoping it was an indigo bunting because I've only ever seen one once but a bluebird is not a bad consolation prize. Sorry the pic isn't better, it's just 5X zoom on my phone 😸

My first FPP! Definitely bit off a smidge more than I could chew but I don't think most people will notice the boo-boos so 🤷 pattern is by @skullsandneedlesmerx on Etsy

The little felt skull I machine embroidered is now a patch! I used heat&bond Ultra for the adhesive and a patch of denim on the inside and finished with some sashiko thread for funsies. Sewing inside of denim pockets is no joke!

Last week I didn't do any sewing/quilting, but I did a fair amount of machine embroidery. Now I have a bunch of catching up to do! I made this little sassy citrus last night. Don't mind the poor lighting, it was 1 AM.

Anyone that knows me would be 0% surprised to learn I've spent my Friday evening stitching out Mothman and Kraken bandanas for the cosmonauts. Designs by @stfa.bsky.social I managed to cut out some quilt blocks and coerce some wrinkles out of clear vinyl too so I'm feeling quite accomplished 😸

I made these adorable little felt skulls to use on a visible mending project. I never expected quilting to lead to sashiko or machine embroidery but here we are 🤷
