Telling bedtime stories
Comic. Baby Beanie is refusing to go to sleep. Mama is tucking her into bed and suggests that Beanie should tell her toy bunny a story until she gets tired and sleepy. Beanie starts telling bunny a story and then suddenly it’s two hours later she’s wide awake and really into the story. Then it’s morning and she’s still going. Mama opens the door and they look at each other in silence for a beat. Mama: Please don’t tell me you stayed up all night.

Tiny memories
Comic. Things I remember vividly - smell of grass, making grass and flower crowns. Lying on a warm pavement heated by the sun on a breezy summer afternoon. Dipping my arms in water on a hot day. Watching my reflection distort. Finding a cozy nook somewhere during the rain and pretending that it’s my little forest house.
