Last Monday or so, I was given a document at the university I work at. It was a list of procedure instructions on what to do if someone claims they're a government agent. Especially, they're trying to get to our computers or colleagues. (ie pretending to be DOGE or ICE).

It's like everyone lost their common sense in the government. How much more evidence do you need to realize we're not dealing with rational people? Act accordingly. 🙄

Spotify -- which app or music site do you use instead? Spotify is a critical app for me right now. I use it to meditate and help regulate my energy and emotions by listening to music.

Yesterday, I started sorting/purging things. Today, it's sorting all the docs and condensing/digitizing info.
For a couple of years, I've been slowly preparing for a permanent move abroad. Now, I'm preparing for a GTFO asap and a 3 months out moving scenario. It's bringing me some peace of mind.

^ This. When it comes to the romance books I tend to read, my library 100% does not have those books or authors.
I'll gladly get off of Kindle if my library had these books or if there was a different platform that carried them.

I deleted TikTok off my phone after it went dark. It's not on the app store for download. I'm not sure what it looks like now.
I'm trying to build my algorithm back on YouTube shorts, etc, but it's impossible. My TikTok algorithm seemed to be based on what I liked more than who I followed. 😢

I'm trying to build my own algorithm back, in a way, but everyone is scattered. Some people are on here, or just YouTube, or Instagram; but not in the same place. Some have decided to peace out of socials completely.

^ This. This is how I feel. How am I going to get the random but informative vids about people calling out what bills their state governments are trying to pass? Then scroll to the next video that is about Recon Cat and the guard dogs at that one ranch. 😰

I didn't catch all the handles of people I wanted to keep following before the ban happened. I'll only go back long enough to do that. But I already deleted the app and can't get back in. 🤷♀️

^ This. I, unfortunately, didn't realize how many creators I would miss until after the ban/shutdown. Deleted the app last night and can't download it right now. But when I can, it will be to "smash and grab" info.

I deleted it after the shutdown. However, I was dumb and didn't screenshot/follow a good chunk of my favorite creators before the ban. If I go back, it's only to find the ones I lost and delete the app again. Can't download it right now.
