I also get back into guitar again! It’s been many years since I last played but I’m learning heaps of new stuff. Also got a VIP ticket for my favourite guitarist’s @yvetteyoung show in Shenzhen soon 😍 What a way to reward myself haha

I joined Chinese Pride NZ as an event planner and found my queer family here. I love how we, in our endless rambling conversations (lol), always try to celebrate ourselves as Chinese queers and think of ways to embrace the queer solidarity that’s going to smash the borders.

I passed my PYR and am confirmed as a PhD candidate, then started data collection. I presented at two conferences (Global Digital Intimacies at University of Amsterdam and AANZCA at RMIT). I tutored for two COMMS courses and have learnt to be a helpful tutor (hopefully!) I also became a RA for COMMS

Just did my first in-person conference presentation at @AANZCA in the beautiful Melbourne city, discussing digital displacement in Baihe fanfiction writing! Feeling super grateful for the amount of support and constructive questions I received! (Can’t believe I forgot to take any photos)
