3) I'm seeing this already, people are blaming Democrats for not doing anything but ignore the fact that they needed control of both houses of Congress to act and will now blame them more.

1) Because the Democrats underperformed and their more progressive base stayed home or actively campaigned against it will make the Democrats more conservative because that voting bloc shows up.
