Probably a combination but like with most things, it comes down to intent. Focus group people who say it wrong likely have no ill intent... have just heard it pronounced different ways and aren't sure what's right. The worst thing would be to call them ignorant/racist without considering intent...

This was so good! Really loved your takes both on this podcast and on the first post-mortem podcast you did with Tim Miller. It's so easy to live inside the echo chamber and dismiss the "other side," but that's not where you'll find the answers!
