‘Animals do speak, but only to those who know how to listen’

Understanding animals requires paying close attention to their actions and cues, rather than assuming they are silent or unintelligent.

I finally got to see the movie "Killers of the Flower Moon" yesterday. The same people who were running the town of Fairfax are the same ones in charge of the government. They're just wearing different skins, but they are the same people and they are doing the same things on the world stage.

One day a seeker asked the Buddha:
“What did you do before you became enlightened?”
The Buddha responded: “Chop wood, carry water”
The seeker then asked him:
“What did you do after you became enlightened?”

There are places we have been, you and I
Leading each of us to this time and place
There are stories we can tell
Of people we have met
And things we have done
Before we each arrived here.
“Ah, the stories I want to have with you.”

“to whom shall I preach?”
Because he saw the Beloved in all eyes.
