As with the post-9/11 collage of the dead and missing in 28 Days Later, this can't help but recall the Covid memorial wall of hearts in London, or the sea of white flags in Washington DC. Boyle is tapping into something very potent here: Britain is not over the pandemic, and it's not over Brexit and the blind rage that it unleashed. Rather than an island full of noises, it's an island that cannot fully vocalise the trauma that it has been through and continues to go through. As of now, it feels like the only British film that has fully tried to reckon, albeit abstractly, with what the country has experienced.

Becoming a Registered Charity is a huge step forward, as we continue to work with government, the local council and all other stakeholders towards the Wall being made permanent. It will enable us to access a wide range of funding opportunities, work with new partners and strengthen our case for the permanence of our unique memorial. It also provides additional transparency and reassurance to everyone who supports us, which is vitally important as we go forward.

The weather was cold, but our hearts were warm as we received this incredibly generous £1650 donation from Tim, Nikki, Bess and Rosie, who took on the 3-peaks 48-hour Tatras challenge in Poland in memory of Pat and Jan, who are remembered on the wall. Thank you so much! ❤️

On the final day of Module 3 of the Covid Inquiry it was an honour for the volunteers to have a visit from leading voices of CATA (Covid Airborne Transmission Alliance).

At the #CovidInquiry today, we noticed these stitched hearts on display. "A thousand hearts were shattered..." ♥️
