I am going to look for similarities, and at least everyone here didn't vote for Trump. I am out, love you guys!
May 4, 2025 at 1:39 AM
Thats what I am saying, we are both arguing different points.
May 4, 2025 at 1:37 AM
OK. But my argument is that boys are doing worse in school, reading, writing, math, etc due in part due to the educational system. Is your argument that because boys are being taught violence and domination being the reason they are doing worse in school?
May 4, 2025 at 1:37 AM
Thanks I will keep that in mind, your input into the argument has been super useful.
May 4, 2025 at 1:27 AM
It isn't me. I don't care about me. You are attacking children, saying it is fault that they continue to worse and worse in school and in life. Congrats, you proved sexism existed throughout the ages. It doesn't help the fact that boys are doing worse in school. We are playing different games
May 4, 2025 at 1:26 AM
I paraphrased Ms. Barge. It isn't something I necessarily believe it.
May 4, 2025 at 1:17 AM
I will read your book if you read one of mine. Might make us both better off?
May 4, 2025 at 1:15 AM
It strains credulity when you can't name any statistic, or any empirical evidence for that matter, to support your theory that boys are statistically doing worse in school because of laziness. It's a dumb argument.
May 4, 2025 at 1:14 AM
I’m not. But making an over generalization that boys are lazy isn’t helpful. Data says something is wrong, but you say boys are lazy.
May 4, 2025 at 12:45 AM
So schools don’t play a part in education? Huh?
May 4, 2025 at 12:42 AM
Bs, not a fact. Gym, recess, music. All these things have been cut. Boys back in day didn’t sit at their desk for 7 hours. And it disproportionately affected our boys.
May 4, 2025 at 12:40 AM
That would make sense if girls did better and boys educational attainment stayed the same. But boys are doing worse than they have historically and getting worse. Why??????? Stop saying lazy/entitled. It’s not helpful.
May 4, 2025 at 12:37 AM
Why is it I have to have cited sources but you can make inflammatory over generalizations?
May 4, 2025 at 12:30 AM
Suck it up buttercup, correct?
May 4, 2025 at 12:27 AM
Yep, blame the kid. Maybe there is a biological difference? Maybe boys aren’t meant to sit quietly at their desks and read or write. Maybe that’s a difference? But I am sure your anecdotal evidence equals data to you, but it is just an over generalization in my opinion.
May 4, 2025 at 12:26 AM
What is your specific question? What do you want cited? Sorry, I didn’t realize I needed footnotes for twitter arguments.
May 4, 2025 at 12:17 AM
True, It may not be the entire problem, true. Broken families, lack of male role models, and other factors may play a part. But saying the educational system doesn’t play a part is disingenuous.
May 4, 2025 at 12:13 AM
Fine, if you don’t like Galloway, look at any of Richard Hawleys books or research. If you want me to keep naming researchers or research I will keep going.
May 4, 2025 at 12:09 AM
That’s true at every school, you’re proving my point. If the education system wasn’t failing boys, it wouldn’t be a problem.
