The birren by Abiogenesis are the perfect example of the kind of aliens I want to see as Starfinder ancestries. Completely alien. Not a human with make up, or a humanoid or alienized animal, something completely different that could have viably evolved on their planet

I got to reverse UNO a Karen today
Found a place that explicitly says, in signage, nice dogs can be here under voice control. She gets mad at me for getting close to her reactive dog, who is also off leash. I tell her if her dog is aggressive it needs to be on a leash and not here. She leaves

The farm encounter in Spore War is an amazing example of great encounter design:
1) Meaningful terrain differences
2) Environmental considerations that aren't just hazards
3) Creatures with abilities that can use the space in interesting ways
Way better than a creature in a room.

When I wrote my review of the Murder in Metal City, i said I wouldn't say anything about the adventure until I ran it.
I am running it. Or I was.
My group decided to give up on it after 2 sessions.

8] Overall take: this is a $40 box. Compared to the $45 PF2e Beginner Box, it has less quality materials in it, isn't new player friendly, and most of the space is empty. This feels closer to $25 with the clear cost cutting that was done. Very on par with D&D but double the price and less useful

7] As a rule I don't read AP's until I plan to run them. But worth noting is a new ancestry, the Khizar, in introduced. A kind of plant people that looks like the Demogorgon from Stranger Things. I dig that. Also has some extra creatures in the adventure toolbox while we wait for Alien Core.
