It's a UV-curable hydrogel system that requires no photoinitiator, achieved through the inclusion complex between β-cyclodextrin and benzophenone. By tuning different parameters, we could precisely control the hydrogel’s properties while maintaining excellent biocompatibility.

You cannot imagine how much fried food there is in Belgium. The uni's canteen is quite tasty, better than AAU for sure. I loved fried food, overate, and got food poisoning. So in my life for the 1st time I called the ambulance and it sent me to the hospital at midnight.

I went to Ghent University, Belgium, for my external stay in September 2024. Photo-rheometer was the target, that I don't have here in Aalborg. There were also filters for UV light with specific wavelengths. That's why I'm in purple.

International Cyclodextrin Symposium was held in June 2024 in Dunkerque. I made a newly designed poster, with the best design among all the participants' posters. But Many people got sick from the finger food at the conference. My colleagues and I missed Budapest.

The 17th Scandinavian Society for Biomaterials Meeting was held in Helsingør, Denmark, in 2023. The meeting was a mess, but the speakers are quite good at biomaterials. I gave a flash presentation in 3 minutes. Thank god I'm skilled at explaining complex concepts concisely.

In September 2023, I attended the 1st conference in my life, EuroCD 2023, in Budapest. I made a poster to introduce my research on a novel supramolecular hydrogel. Surprisingly, I won the Audience Choice Award. Budapest is a wonderful city with pleasant weather and excellent food

In this work, we developed a dextran-based supramolecular hydrogel, functionalized with cyclodextrin and UV-cured, to immobilize ferrocene via host–guest inclusion. This hydrogel provides cell adhesion resistance—an important feature for biosensing applications.

This review article provides an introduction to the construction of supramolecular hydrogels and their application in bioinks. The co-authors of this work are Pablo Pennisi, Thorbjørn Terndrup Nielsen, and Kim Lambertsen Larsen. I appreciate their significant contribution.
