14-4 in CC is nothing to scoff at! Plenty of time to improve at draft before the next big events. I learned a ton from my draft games as well. I felt good about the drafting itself, but the games were very tough. Have to execute near perfectly, my losses came down to missing just 1-2 points of value

In all seriousness, very cool design. My only concern is perched doesn't give full immunity. Shock, Figment of Ravages, runeblade with scepter, and other "any target" or "target ally" cards may be able to kill it before you can use it.

Oh! I figured it out thanks to another post I saw. If you don't play at least 5 rated games during the qualifying period (90 days before the cutoff) you can't qualify on Elo. So those people that were "skipped" must not have played.

The ELO invites are given to the top 100 players, but if a player has already qualified via RTN then the spot is shifted down. Chatting with a couple people, they guessed about top 275 qualified last year. This seems in line with that. Maybe Elo shifted after this was run yesterday? (2/3)

It is very interesting to me that LSS says the reasoning is German, Italian, and Spanish players prefer english cards. As I'm in the same boat of you, not knowing many non english speaking Fab players, I'm curious to hear how these communities feel about it too. Hope you get some good responses!

I'm curious as I'm not very familiar with the Spanish Fab scene, do you agree with LSS' statement that Spanish players prefer english cards (this is the reason they give for discontinuing)?

Just to clarify they are moving away from italian in addition to german and spanish. The French will never give up their french preference haha

It seems like a bit of a let down if the symbol is just tap instead of a cool new mechanic. But, if it is and if untap only happens at end of or beginning of YOUR turn, then I believe this gives us a new mechanic for the first time. Once per turn CYCLE vs Once per turn.
