I went for a quick 16 mile ride on Sunday on the Seven. I'm not supposed to ride yet but I needed to after last week's shitstorm. And I felt towards the end why I'm not ready yet. Still not sure how much better this is really going to get. No guarantees, just keep with the PT and see what happens. 🤞

Every single pumpkin that isn't in a tree is real. A team of 30 people carving pumpkins every day during the duration of the exhibit. It's a sight to behold.

IMO Bigfoot is one of the best beers ever made. Big chewy malts with a crisp bitterness and hoppy note that coats the mouth. I'm always amazed how well the bitterness holds up as it ages as well. Complex yet clean.

Approaching 1 month off the bike. Formal shoulder diagnosis is a pinched nerve and I've finally started PT. Still in a bit of pain though. Been slowly swapping parts over from the Allez. Just need new bar tape and the bb/crankset installed. Hoping to get on it yet this fall. 🤞

Pulled the trigger. It's old, but it's in beautiful shape. The geo fits me perfectly and it's an insanely comfy ride. I actually used to work on this bike years ago during my shop days. Gotta swap some parts from the Allez. Can't wait to get some miles on this in 2026.

Sitting here watching Rudy as I contemplate my year of racing. Ironic as I kicked off my season of training on the trainer in the basement watching Rudy. It was a great year of racing. New goals achieved but the ultimate goal still remains. Leadville. Will give it a go again next year!
